SAP's operation in Galway is a multi-lingual Support and Technical Writing centre for SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) sector. In July 2011, SAP announced that it is to extend its commitment to its Irish operation with the news that it is to sign a lease on a new 1,350 square meter facility in Citywest and is currently recruiting for 100 jobs.
BusinessObjects Dublin operation in Park West Business Park in Dublin is a key BusinessObjects site from where it runs its EMEA inside software and maintenance sales activities, processes EMEA supply chain management for all European countries and manages global software deliveries. In 2008 the company established a software development lab in Dublin which will develop its next generation of business analytics software. The establishment of the development lab will create 100 highly skilled new jobs over a four year period and the technology to be developed at the lab is highly innovative, leading edge and is a critical part of the company’s future technology roadmap.
